Rangers of Nigeria winger Ejike Uzoenyi, will finally get the
chance to go to the World Cup, after he was
recalled to the Super Eagles squad, to replace
the injured Elderson Echiejile.
The left-back suffered a muscle tear in the
goalless draw against Greece on Tuesday and the
team officials are not ready to risk taking an
injured player to the tournament.
Uzoenyi who reportedly cried in the team bus after being
informed by Stephen Keshi that he would not make the initial 23-man squad, will now get his
chance to impress in Brazil.
Uzoenyi is an excellent winger with dribbling skills and team playing capabilities.

He was named the most valuable player at the just concluded CHAN 2014.
